Apply for Housing

Fall 2025

Current residents who are staying for the Spring 2025 semester will receive an email with a link to select their room and roommate for the Fall semester. This selection process will be available from February 17 – February 28.

New resident students should find the Housing Application for the 2025-2026 academic year on the Housing Portal. Please note that completing the TJC Admissions application does not guarantee a room on campus.

Here are some important dates to keep in mind:

  • Fall 2025 Housing Application Opens: January 1
  • Returning Student Room Selection: February 17 – February 28
  • New Student Room Selection: March 10 – March 31 (Must complete all requirements by March 7)
  • 2nd Round Placement Begins: April 18 (Must complete all requirements by April 11)

To ensure that you are ready for roommate selection on March 10th, please complete all steps on the Housing application. This will allow you to log into your Housing Portal and select your preferred room and roommate at the designated time.

Please note that completing the Housing application process early increases your chances of getting a room on campus. Additionally, TJC-affiliated teams and groups (such as Honors, Band, and Belles) have rooms blocked by sponsors and coaches. If you are a member of a TJC-affiliated group, you must still complete the housing application process.

A $130 one-time Application Processing Fee must be paid by first-time applicants and anyone who took a semester off from housing. This fee cannot be paid by Financial Aid or Scholarships and is non-refundable.

Meal Plans

New residential meal plan rates were implemented in Fall 2024. For Spring 2025, all residential students must purchase a meal plan from the available residential plan options. The meal plan can be used at the Apache Junction cafeteria, while Apache Bux can be used at Chick-fil-A, Rising Roll Gourmet Cafe, and Common Grounds on campus. There are three residential meal plans to choose from:

  • Platinum Plan - This plan offers unlimited meals per day, one meal exchange per day (which can be used at Rising Roll Gourmet Cafe or Common Grounds), and $350 Apache Bux per semester for $1,900.

  • Gold Plan - This plan offers unlimited meals per day, one meal exchange per day (which can be used at Rising Roll Gourmet Cafe or Common Grounds), and $100 Apache Bux per semester for $1,800.
  • Silver Plan - This plan offers 14 weekly meals and $200 Apache Bux per semester for $1,650.
