The Safety Institute at Tyler Junior College (TJC), established with a generous grant from Texas Mutual Insurance Company, offers courses focused on workplace development and safety for employers, employees, and the public. The Safety Institute aims to train both current and future skilled workforce in safe work practices, particularly in high-risk industries or occupations prone to workplace accidents.
