TJC Primary Points of Contact for Military Students
TJC's primary point of contact for our prospective/current military students and dependents is Chris Fontaine, Executive Director of Academic Advising, Veteran and Military Services, and Testing Services.
Mr. Fontaine is the Compliance Officer for TJC, is SCO trained, has served and been trained throughout a 30-year career as a Director of Financial Aid and is also a certified Career Advisor.
The academic advising team under Mr. Fontaine are all trained to assist and advise TJC’s military students relating to degree completion, transfer advising assistance, initializing help for TJC students wanting to utilize military benefits, and how to assist TJC military students relating to remaining in good academic and financial standing. In addition, the academic advising and VA departments are the hub of assisting TJC’s military students connect with other department partners including disabilities services, career planning, student life, financial aid, admissions, registrar’s office, TJC support services, and TRIO.
