Legends of TJC

Launched in 2016 as part of TJC’s 90th anniversary celebration, the “Legends of TJC” program was created to honor the most notable living alumni.

The first honoree was Admiral Bobby Inman, with four more alumni honored in subsequent years: NBA all-star Jimmy Butler, songwriter Will Jennings, singer-songwriter Chris Tomlin, and actor Shea Whigham.

Jimmy Butler is a six-time NBA All-Star, a five-time All-NBA Team honoree, a five-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team honoree, and an Olympic gold medalist.
