TJC will kick off the fall semester with “Meet the Apaches” from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, outside Wagstaff Gymnasium on the TJC central campus.
“Meet the Apaches” offers the community the opportunity to meet members of the various TJC athletic teams and see one of the first performances of the year by the TJC Apache Band, Apache Belles and Apache Cheer squad.
Admission is free and food trucks and concessions will be available for purchase.
At 6 p.m., TJC volleyball will host rival Navarro College in Wagstaff Gym. Admission is free.
“We are excited to introduce the outstanding young men and women who make up Apache Athletics,” said Doug Wren, TJC director of intercollegiate athletics.
“We hope the community will come out, meet our student-athletes, get a dose of Apache spirit from our Apache Band and Belles, and then stick around to see our volleyball team take on Navarro.”
