Tyler Junior College is offering online and walk-in registration for its upcoming spring term.
The spring semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 21, and offers three sessions:
• 15-week — Jan. 21-May 8
• 1st 7-week — Jan. 21-March 7
• 2nd 7-week — March 10-May 2
Online registration is available at TJC.edu/register. Current students who need registration assistance can text the Advising Text Line at 903-231-7121.
Walk-in advising and registration will be held 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, Jan. 13-17, with extended hours until 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in Rogers Student Center on the TJC central campus.
During the event on Wednesday and Thursday, a “Last-Minute Fast Track” will be available for those who need assistance with application, financial aid questions, setting up payments as well as submitting needed documents — in addition to advising and registration.
Free TSI testing is also available to current TJC students from 8 to 11 a.m. each day.
Students registering on these days will also be entered for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship applicable toward tuition and fees. The scholarship has been provided by the TJC Foundation.
“Our academic advisors will be available to help students register for classes and connect them with the resources they need to be successful throughout the semester,” said Chris Fontaine, executive director of TJC Advising, Veterans/Military and Testing Services.
