Tyler Junior College will hold a recruitment fair on Tuesday, Aug. 13, for individuals interested in becoming an adjunct (part-time) professor.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Apache Rooms of Rogers Student Center on the TJC Main Campus.
Professors are being sought for various teaching roles and several department chairs will be present to speak with potential candidates about the application process. Candidates are encouraged to bring their resume, but it is not required.
TJC Dean for Academic Success Dr. Dometrius Hill said, “If you would like to pursue the field of teaching, serving as an adjunct professor is a great opportunity. We invite all those who are interested to come to the recruitment fair and learn how to become part of the TJC family.”
The event is “come and go” and no RSVP is required. Refreshments will be served.
